Barns 4 and 5 have now reached a major milestone in their transformation at Rowley Farm! It’s remarkable to reflect on how far they’ve come. When we first took on the project management of these structures, both were in a severely deteriorated state, with large sections collapsed and the remaining fabric at risk of further failure.

A full reconstruction has now been carried out, replacing compromised timbers and carefully retaining original elements wherever possible to preserve the barns’ historic character. Each building now benefits from a completely renewed roof, and the surrounding site drainage has been overhauled to ensure long‑term stability and performance. A huge thank you to everyone involved for the precision, care and commitment shown throughout this complex restoration. Barns 4 and 5 now stand safely and proudly once again!
